What to do if there is no summer camp

They are cleaning and filling the pool in my suburb. Maybe this is just routine, but it was a hopeful sign.

This. “Go outside and don’t come in until the street lights are on. Come in early and you are cleaning.”

I had one of those childhoods, and they always involved a ton of play with friends. So, no, that won’t work.

If this happens, OP, it will be all the water play and popsicles in our backyard. Thankfully the kids seem to love all things water (fingers crossed). I’d rather that if it means schools will be open for Fall. That closure, I just won’t be able to handle.

Different circumstances, but my child's special medical needs camp in Jule has already been canceled. So I'm not holding my breath for the other camps to close too.

Doesn’t work so well if the parks are closed and the kids still aren’t supposed to hang out together.
I don’t think it will still be that dire in July, but an old school free-range summer isn’t a given either.
