We wore masks, gloves, and eye protection. Got what we needed, came home removed masks in the car and left them there. Washed hands. Had robes already in laundry room so we could put our clothes in the laundry and then go take showers and wash our hair. Mission accomplished. |
Not everyone, as evidenced by the nutty behaviors described in this post. I can't believe people are changing their clothes in their entryway like they just came back from working a night shift at the ER. Good grief. Take precautions but don't go overboard. Goggles, seriously?! LOL |
People are still allowed to go to the store and get diapers. |
Meant the poster that was critiquing anyone that is doing more than washing their hands. It’s not ok to minimize what someone else feels necessary for safety when so much is unknown. We have to presume all of us are carriers and be mindful of exposure. I feel for the parent that is needing supplies for infant and having to go to multiple locations to find (or not find them). |

Which Target please? Trying to find baby wipes. Have just been putting her little butt under the faucet but she is not a happy camper about this method. |
Correct. Except everyone wants to get there right when the store opens. It is very busy in the morning. Go in the late afternoon early evening and it will be empty. |
I’m going to wear goggles because I’m always unconsciously touching my face. And i has to unexpectedly go to my parent’s house for a few days. I went out every day getting them stocked up on supplies to get them through a month. They both are over 75 and have multiple risk factors. You better believe I changed out of my clothes and washed them when I got back. |
Okay, but this is not like ebola. It is not so contagious that you have to suit up just to make a short trip to the store. This isn't Contagion. IMO, you are doing more than you need to. But if it it makes you feel better, do it. |
Op go to the Leesburg Target and not the one by Wegmans. The Leesburg one is always cleaner and better stocked. |
OP, were you able to find the diapers for your son? I hope you were able to get what you need and both make it home safely. |
I found baby wipes at 7 11. |
Consider a damp paper towel? |
I did go yesterday and got the last 2 boxes of wipes and the last box of diapers. Stocked up on a ton of other stuff as well. The Ashburn Target was well stocked (including tons of Easter stuff) except they were very low on bread. I wore face mask, wraparound clear goggle/sunglasses, and gloves. I did feel awkward since I only saw 1 or 2 other people with masks but WHOCARES! I stripped as soon as I got home and showered. Won’t be going to the store again for at least two weeks. It’s simply not worth the risk anymore that the peak is approaching.

Time to potty train. |
