DH's lack of independence is so unattractive

My husband is quite useless like that, even needs to be told when to mow the lawn, as if he can’t see the six Inch grass he just walked over and out two and two together.
Then when he finally does start mowing the small lawn- and yes I do it sometimes as well- he moans and growns, stops and makes excuses. The weeds have buds, should we do weed killer first then cut next week? There’s sticks in the lawn, what should I do? The back doesn’t look as long as the front, can I stop?

Such a nonstop idiot.
