It is easy to be useless when one is clueless. |
How is our city's Coronoa response on Trump? Another poster in this thread mentioned the 50 tests that Mayor Bowser mentioned the city could test a day two weeks ago. This was independent of Federal support and the city still did not ramp up testing until commercial lab testing became available in greater numbers. Those actions are on the city and not the federal government. We always love shouting about DC statehood and the first thing we do whenever anything gets tough is shout at the federal government. If we want to see solutions, we need to start owning our own problems. DC testing is not on the feds. Neither is DC number of ventilators or our other complaints. How about this. Why aren't DC Public Health Officials having members test people in their homes? Why are we having people who pass initial screening go to the doctors? The Mayor is complaining that we are running out of PPE because of too many people going to the hospitals and everybody having to get donned in PPE to receive them. Well, then, stop that practice. Send a mobile test station with two people in Tyvek suits to them. Confirm their address and contact information once their and call them back with their results and further instructions when the results are returned. Bam you have saved twenty nurses and doctors from having to don PPE. The president does not need to tell us to be smart. |
+1,000 (We could be soul-mates PP )

| A nurse in Philadelphia told me they’re testing a thousand people a week. Her hospital/network doesn’t require that the patient was exposed like I’ve heard here. |
And when one is useless, cluelessness usually follows as well. But she is usually good at projecting platitudes. |

She is doing a daily briefing. |
Platitudes to the People ! But where is the testing? |
Let’s rephrase that. Because of Trump always a f@ckup. |
| Because she wants to open things back up. And the best way to do that is to not test so the numbers stay low. She wants kids in school & folks spending $$$. That’s why |
