Zombies obviously. Rushed testing.

Lol.

Shaun of the Dead all over again. See PSA from the actors, they know it's coming.

From their freshly updated website, DC tested ONLY 6 people on March 16, 2020. Testing numbers have gone from 120 people tested to 126 since testing started. Yet Mayor Bowser said 2 Sundays ago they have the capacity to test 50 people a day.

What on earth???

As of Friday, over 570 people tested in DC. https://coronavirus.dc.gov/page/coronavirus-data

That’s one test per 1,000 residents

Nope. This one is on Trump. DC doesn't have enough tests to get to everyone who is symptomatic.

Even if Obama had been president, there would not be enough tests to get to everyone in the current pandemic. Heck my kid was refused testing twice with heavy cough before we dragged him in half dead to our local ER screaming and yelling! By then his white count was like a leukemic, his test positive and they hussled. No joke: Swine flu, 2009.

How is a citys issue on trump? We have a health department and a budget surplus.

Yes but you also have incompetent morons running your government.

Bowser is still scheduling zoning board of appeals “hearings” during the crisis. They know the public won’t show up, and anything to keep the pipeline going for her developer cronies. Shameful.

It is on Trump because it is a worldwide pandemic, which makes it a federal issue; but since he dropped the ball, states are scrambling to find a way to deal with it without our federal assistance (which we paid for in taxes, by the way). DC, in the mean time, isn't a state, so we're just screwed.

DC has all the apparatus/departments a state has and Bowser has like powers, such as declaring state of emergency, asking for federal assistance and activating national guard. Not defending federal response, but curious why the entire municipal level is passing GO and collecting $200?

Georgetown is running the bulk of tests in DC right now. Washington Hospital Center has the equipment and staff to perform tests, but their reagents need FDA approval before they can test in-house.

And what about our health department? It seems like federal republic is sort of a fail here??

Now is not the time for politics. We should be unifying in support of our leaders.

(See how ridiculous conservatives sound?)

Why are playgrounds still open? There’s pick up basketball going on there also. In Seattle and California playgrounds and fenced dog parks are closed. What’s Bowser doing?
