Love is Blind on Netflix

Mark is desperate to leave his roommate’s house. Since most of their interactions have been terrible, insulting and disrespectful, why on earth is he swearing complete devotion to her? Did I hear correctly that they are sleeping together?

Good point about Kelly, their storyline is completely boring and forgettable.

Yes, Jessica and Mark have slept together. I love how her friends didn't give two S%^$ about the age difference. She has really psyched herself out of any chance at happiness with Mark. Also, why does Mark want to settle down so soon? He's acting so desperate that you would think he was 44 not 24.

I wish Mark would cut his losses and dump her.

I am also pulling for Cameron + Lauren.

I feel like we are seeing a new side of Damian. Thoughts on Damian and Gianna?

I don’t think Damian & Gianna are going to make it. And he seems so angry at her now that he won’t be able to move forward.

I can’t see GG and Damian moving forward without serious couples counseling. I cringe the way she talks to him. I also raise an eyebrow at some of what he says as well.

I think Cameron & Lauren and Amber and Barnett will make it. No way on Jessica and Mark and highly doubt Kelly and Kenny.

Yeah, I am starting to get a controlling vibe from him. It's also very telling that his parents won't meet her. I feel bad for GG.

She said she has intimacy issues. She can’t climax with sex. She falls for hunky/sexier guys and they don’t pleasure her. I can see this. She’s not a stunner in the looks dept. Sure, she’s cute and makes a good match with Kenny, but I can see hot frat dudes using her for sex and not really caring about pleasing her.

Because she doesn’t want him.

Just got into this show. On the episode when they move into their own houses.

Carleton was a nightmare.

Jessica is awful. Mark is mature in some ways but immature in that he is hanging onto her even though every word and action should be telling him she isn't into him at all. He seems to want marriage and kids and is blinded by his romantic heart. She basically flirts with Barnett in front of him and tells him she thinks Barnett is more attractive.

Amber is immature. Barnett is a a bit of a 'frat' boy but more mature than Amber and is likely to get tired of her irresponsible, fun loving ways. He didn't play into Jessica at all and handled that disaster pretty well. He seems like he is on the border of moving from fun guy to mature guy.

Kenny and Kelly and Lauren and Cameron all seem like lovely people. Lauren and Cameron seem to have a stronger connection. Kenny and Kelly don't seem completely compatible. They enjoy each other's company but I don't see much depth to what they have.

Oh I forgot about Giannina and Damien. Don't think that will last. Giannina is really immature and annoying. Her inability to understand the concept of a vacation being a nice break from work was strange. She must have never really worked.

He is going to get tired of her quickly. I don't get controlling vibes, I get annoyed vibes. They also don't communicate well at all. She talks over him all the time and only cares about her own opinion.

Spoilers say 3 of the 5 couples are still together (filming was in fall 2018). Pretty good stats for a reality TV show.

I read the same. The question is did the three couples get married or did some stay engaged and date.

Those spoilers are out there too but since the final is Thursday...better to not spoil it here.

She said something like it feels like he’s a good friend. Or something like that. She’s friend zoned him!

My sense is that Kelly is deeply closeted. My DH disagrees, but thinks she is an abuse survivor. Either way, I think this match will be very complicated (and headed for the DCUM relationships forum in 5 years if they do marry).

Mark and Damian are both putting up with really awful behavior by their 'girlfriends'. They are both being mistreated in a away that would never be acceptable if they were the women and Giannina and Jessica were the men.

Sad to see guys who feel they need to stick it out despite being put through the wringer. I think women are more socialized to see bad behavior in men and get support to walk away - guys less so.

Great point. I want them to go back and have do-overs

A friend pointed out that participants on reality TV shows get paid. So maybe they are putting up with terrible treatment for the paycheck (and then will dump at the altar or divorce soon after).
