I always feel myself wanting to be on his side because he’s absolutely right about bi-phobia being a thing, especially in the black community, and I understand why he would be hesitant to tell people the truth when he’s been so burned in the past. Just watched. I think I saw this comment on Reddit when the show initially aired, re amber and Barnett- “I think he can do better. And I think she knows it.” That sums up their relationship.

She was entirely in the wrong re: LC and Mark (assuming they did talk about seeing each other exclusively). And too controlling re: Jessica

Yep re Amber and Barnett. He’s a douche with a heart of gold, and I would bet he’s pretty successful. I still see Lauren as somewhat disengaged in her interactions with Cameron, but the post credits scene explained a lot. As long as he doesn’t cry, I’m guessing he’s great in bed.

Btw, does Cameron wear a topper? His haircut is bizarre.

Oh Jessica. She looks like a 50 yr old that still goes tanning. I was surprised to see her drinking—I expected to see her on the wagon.

CI have a theory that Giannina and Damien were producer plants from the beginning. Well, this is a theory that has been circulating for a while.

But they had an agreement with Netflix from the beginning. Their whole relationship was so over-the-top from season one. I think netflix wanted some guaranteed drama in a show that could have gone so many ways and hired them. What happened with Francesca was ridiculous. I don’t believe that that was not scripted in someway.

At the end of season 1, Barnett/Amber were just as prominent as the Hamiltons. I can’t believe how different their social media presences are. One is monetizing this and setting themselves up for the future. The other…is not. Does Amber even work or is this all on Barnett?

Lauren and Cam, and Giannina, seem to be the ones who've successfully monetized their time on the show. They're represented by CAA, and clearly have promotion deals. The Barnetts don't, of course, because who would want them? What are they going to promote, Michelob Light? And no, Amber does not work, and she'll blow the money she got from the reunion on hair, nails etc. in record time no doubt.
