I think the show has jumped the shark. It was like a low budget movie of the week. Nothing interesting. And zero chemistry between any of the couples.

Really? You don’t think the actors who play Jamie and Claire have chemistry? Really? Have you watched every episode of every season? Clearly you’re missing something.

They used to. Season 1 was hot. Season 2 was ok. But it’s gotten worse. Like I said: this first episode was boring, and the chemistry just isn’t there anymore. He seemed bizarrely more fixated on his daughter. Weird.

I like the series in general, but some episodes (like s5e1) feel like duds. I think a lot of the season openers are like that- a lot of setting the stage, not much forward progress.

I didn’t like all the cheesy romantic bs in this episode. Everyone lovingly gazing at each other while the couple says their vows, reciting some of their own vows, etc. Blech. Waste of time.

I love to look at both of them, Jaimie and Claire. I do have to admit, thinking of Sam H as gay does make me a bit less turned on by him. I wish I hadn't read that.

There’s no reason to believe that he’s gay. He’s had girlfriends, his supposed boyfriend that someone mentioned in this thread has had girlfriends. The allegations are just stupid pot stirring.
