ANOTHER Cap Hill PK3 Lottery Q

I heard from other parents that YY has a Capitol Hill bus and that there are actually 2 different stops on Capitol Hill, one I believe is near Eastern Market? Not sure the other.

I think that's right. I'm guessing the other one is on the NE Hill somewhere (maybe nearish Union Station). There are multiple kids who go to YY on our NE Capitol Hill block and I see them walking to the bus in the morning... I don't think they're trekking all the way to Eastern Market, which would be a ~20 minute walk from us for kids of their age.

I believe the other stop is near NE library.

I'm sorry, OP, but I don't think you understand how the lottery works! Any school ranked below another school on your list will fall off when you are offered a place ranked higher on your list.

You have included DCPS schools on your list where you are NOT In-Bounds that I don't believe took any kids OOB on the initial draw. Because you have preference at your In-bounds, and are listing it first (i.e., you truly prefer your in-bound school OVER any other DCPS), there is NO REASON TO LIST ANY OTHER DCPS. Use your spots/brain power for evaluating charters, and accept that with your list as currently presented, you are either going to your In-bound school or nowhere next fall.

Makes sense. I'm the PP and the NE library is about 2 blocks from me... so that explains why 3 year olds are walking on foot to the bus stop even in bad weather (which is why I was skeptical that they were headed to Eastern Market!).
