Omg. You say the same thing anytime anything positive is said about a Club. There’s a Barca conspiracy and an FCV conspiracy and so on... |
Exactly. It is possible that people can be happy with their experience. A soccer club does not have to be a miserable experience. |
That is nuts if true. My son’s ASA team’s is more diverse than any team hyper put out there. Most are among the most diverse in the area. Name the specific team and let people respond. If it happened, it’s inexcusable. I have never heard anything like that at Alexandria. Ever. Usually on the receiving end. |

| Seems like the coaches, refs and parents could read a few short pages of rules before a tournament. |
Why specific rules for a tournament? There are already rules of the game, why change them? |
+1 Alexandria's 07s are a diverse group. This is idiotic. |
Did you ever notice how some outdoor leagues and tournaments have different rules for substitutions? Some allow subs on any restart...direct kick, offside calls, etc. Some only allow subs on goal kicks, your throw in or if the other team is subbing on their throw in, and kick offs. This stuff happens. You have to know your Rules of Competition. |
Time management is different than how the game is being played. |
Yes. Usually tournament rules are focused on getting as many games in as possible. (Game Quantity over game Quality and maximizing cash flow for the tourney hosts). There is no need for different playing rule. |
| Well the highlight of the tournament was seeing Sean Spicer. #loser |
Correct. I was there and heard nothing of the sort. The Alexandria kids went onto the court and the parents and kids were cheering, not using derogatory racial/ethnic slurs towards the other team. |
didn't see him but that would have been great to chat with him. Great man who served. |
He certainly served himself. |
If you want to see him come to Alexandria rec b-ball games, he’s there. |
