You’re quoting me and exact same. TBF people guessed I was older when I was in my 20s, and the things that where aging then (undereye) hasn’t changed. |
|
Worse. 10 years ago I didn't have a kid that destroyed my body (literally....3 surgeries later....), major postpartum hair loss than has only now finally chilled out--but of course it grows back gray, can't lose weight because of the meds I'm on, I feel like nothing ever fits this weird, slightly gross, flabby new body I have.....
But I did get the horrid mole removed from my face, so that's nice. |
Same again! I looked 25 at 15, I've never had a baby face. As long as there are no major changes in skin or body (which yes, will inevitably happen) I've basically stayed the same for the past 20 years, ha. |
Worse, naturally. 40 vs 50. Same weight since forever, always in a good shape, but gravity, man Turkey neck and those bags under my eyes are slowly taking over.
|
| So.much.worse. |
| Hmm, so in instances where weight has been mostly maintained, it seems that 30-40 doesn't cause as much of a difference as 40-50. Apparently, the only game-changing factor is menopause |
I'm 51 and no signs of menopause, but I swear the year I turned 50 I aged ten years. |
Nah. Menopause has been really good to me. No weight gain, no hot flashes, no nada except my skin has cleared up and I never breakout anymore and of course no more periods
I am the pp whose 54 is much better than 44 because I have a 12 yr old now and not a 2 yr old
|
| I’m heavier. Significantly. But I was 15 lbs underweight in 2009. I don’t like to look at my photos then. |
|
Honestly my weight has fluctuated over the past 10 years depending on how strict I've been with my diet /exercise. So, while I'm doing pretty good with it now, if I was doing well 10 years ago on this day then I looked younger and better than I do now. If I had slacked off then I looked younger but fatter than I do now.
|
Same. About the same size but way more wrinkles that I blame partly on parenting and partly on neglecting sunscreen when I was younger. |
| Way worse |
| 24 vs 34. Way, way better. Stopped bleaching and flat ironing my hair. Gained 10 much needed pounds. Better clothes, better hair, better makeup. Better style all around, helps to have more money. Yes I have crows feet and 11s but that’s the only thing that’s a net negative. Had 2 kids and got a lot more confident and it shows. |
Oh, and I got tired of being skinny but soft and started lifting weights. Huge improvements to my body even though I’ve weighed the same since I had my second kid at 28. |
| 34 v 44 Latina, having olive skin helps against the wrinkles. I do have nasolabial folds, which is fine with me it shows I smile and laugh a lot. I’m in better shape than when I was 34, which is when my thyroid went crazy. I’ve learned to dress better and learned to love my wavy hair. One big thing is that I’ve learned to manage my stress a lot better now. |
