Raskin is a local guy who represents the DC suburbs in Maryland. It's a fair argument to assume that Rep. Raskin's policies in Washington are relevant to his constituents in Montgomery County who got him where he is. And many federal workers, Jews, immigrants, environmental scientists, teachers and scholars in Montgomery County support Raskin's efforts to impeach the president. He could run for Senate, Governor, or be considered for a House leadership position and any next move would be relevant to his constituents in the DC area.

Clap it out: he's a representative in the federal branch. This subject belongs in national political forum, IMO.

Pretty much everything he's done as a Rep has to do with being anti-Trump. Impeachment, the Emoluments clause, 25th Amendment, he is all about the #Resistance and hating Trump. Which is why he accurately represents his constituents in the Bethesda Maryland Swamp of liberal elites. So I'll give him that.

He was just on the impeachment hearings and did a boffo job. Agree that he is a perfect rep. My only concern is by 2030, the country will be fast approaching a brown majority and he can’t compete with the people Bethesda liberals will then want. He should co timye his leap to the Senate because there won’t be a Dem administration that cam use him.

She got “moved” out of the FRB bc folks grew worried about her involvement in monetary policy. (Same thing happened to Mark Olsen.) She will not beat out Lael Brainard to be Dep Sec.
