I think I would like to donate mine but I've had a history of miscarriage and I doubt anyone would want them

I'm so sorry about that Were they PGS tested? Many things can cause miscarriage, as I'm sure you know.

| I would like to have donated mine but the clinic required thousands of dollars of retesting for VD all these years later. I guess they had to make money somehow. |
Agree. |
No, and they are all day 1 embryos so there’s that. But they gave me my son... |
| I have 2 embryos remaining. Both were created in 2013 when I was 36. We thawed them and had them PGS tested last year. I’m pregnant now from an embryo from that batch. Of the 2 remaining, one is PGS normal (not super great quality) and one is inconclusive (decent quality). Do you think someone would want those embryos? I would like to give them up for adoption. |
| Interesting to hear that SGF is low on donated embryos. We have two embryos who we would love to donate thru SGF having had successful IVF with SGF on the first try two years ago. SGF won’t take our remaining embryos because my DH - who was in his early 50s when the embryos were created - Does not meet their age cutoff. We have a healthy, happy, cute son. I’m still paying for storage because I can’t bring myself to donate the embryos to “science.” |
