We have weekly fall (and spring) skills classes on Sunday afternoons in McLean (just off the Beltway) and Fairfax (just off 66); programs have already started, but where space is available we're glad to welcome new players and prorate registration fees accordingly.

In the winter, we go indoors in Fairfax, just off the Beltway. We're crafting the winter schedule now; registered fall players will have priority, and then we'll open signups to everyone.

We offer programs for different ages and skill levels, from beginners through travel, and we're always happy to talk with parents to find the best fit for their player. Private, semiprivate, and team training is also available, at our field or at a location closer to you.

I went to college with Tamir, good guy and a soccer guru. You won't be disappointed with his program.

I live in Fairfax and have done several Golden Boot (GB) clinics over the years. The trainers have be fine but the problem is that it doesn't really draw any "top" players in my opinion. The 1v1 activity can be set up perfectly but if you are going up against some rec kid or low level travel player, there is no point. I know HP Elite used to screen players but even they stopped drawing top players. I know they started "DA only clinics". I'm not sure if GB screens for certain clinics or not.

Sorry, you have it all wrong. HP still has some of the area's top players from Loudoun ECNL all the way through DCU DA, we just finished friday night lights and a summer program and I can tell you there isn't a lack of talent out there.

Friday night lights??BWAHAHAHAHA! That is more like babysitting for Mom's night out! The talent is a joke. We signed up my DD for FNL and left after the first training session!

Because your daughter is so damn good right. Keep you nose raised up high so someone can knock the snot out of you for being a joke.

#didyouenjoyyourfridaynightwinewhilequanbabysat

My kid had fun and played with and against mostly DA and ECNL kids from other clubs. To bad your kid and your kids team could never get off the losing team field.

I'm glad the ECNL and DA kids were there to help your kid have fun! They are now looking for better training environment.

I would not pay those prices for FUN - that's what the backyard is for. It is nice the DA kids were there to train your rec kid.

So did your kid spend time in the back yard on those Friday nights? Is your neighborhood chock full of DA and ECNL players to gather and play some pickup soccer?

One and done! Took a look around, got my money back and went home. Way better training options out there. IF all you are looking for is FUN for your kid, why pay for it?

Not mutually exclusive, and in any event, why don't you mind your own business and we'll see how all of it works out?

so someone on an open forum doesn't agree with you so now they have to mind their own business?? Profoundly immature. I can imagine you on the sideline when the ref calls a foul on your kid and you dont like it. Why dont you figure out how a forum works?

You folks can't help it can you? Everyone complains about soccer culture in america, everything has to be club ball or nothing. Arlington has pickup games, Fairfax has pickup games, but the issue is you never know who's going to show up. HP does the FNLs, reasonable cost considering he's renting out Evergreen which isn't cheap and has to pay for coaches. At least there I know the level of competition will typically be high. If you don't like his training, don't go but to bash the other kids for playing pick up basically over the summer, that's just you being bitter.

I think they do a very good job too. Seems there is a VDA/PWSI/Quan hater here who has flared up over the past week.

I'll admit that doing rough math and the level attendance that HP is bank rolling. But it's all about supply and demand, his program works and attracts top talent. What's the motto, to be the best you need to train with the best. Coaches are extremely nice and they work for clubs all around the area.

The claims that top talent isn't there is BS..... Might be lighter during the season due to conflicts with 4 club practices, but the talent is still there. 99% of the time when I see a kid from another club do something special, my kid will tell me that he knows him from HP. Like others have said, you don't have to go but don't be jealous of someone that has a product the market wants. Are you bitter and do you boycott Amazon too?

If you want your kid to eventually graduate out of VDA/PWSI - you will need better training than HP Elite. Why else would HP "elite" cater to the little kids? The older kids "out skill" the coaches by the time they are 11 or 12. You won't see top level players wasting their time training there. You can justify it to yourself any way you want but you know what is true by just watching the kids. And Quan is a little kid coach at best.

Someone is bitter....you can't just leave it alone. NO HP is not the best, but i'm not sure who is. You are free to go or not, but your credibility is shot with your continuous poking. Good luck on finding that training gem.
