Alternatives to HP Elite

I went to college with Tamir, good guy and a soccer guru. You won't be disappointed with his program.

I live in Fairfax and have done several Golden Boot (GB) clinics over the years. The trainers have be fine but the problem is that it doesn't really draw any "top" players in my opinion. The 1v1 activity can be set up perfectly but if you are going up against some rec kid or low level travel player, there is no point. I know HP Elite used to screen players but even they stopped drawing top players. I know they started "DA only clinics". I'm not sure if GB screens for certain clinics or not.

Sorry, you have it all wrong. HP still has some of the area's top players from Loudoun ECNL all the way through DCU DA, we just finished friday night lights and a summer program and I can tell you there isn't a lack of talent out there.

Friday night lights??BWAHAHAHAHA! That is more like babysitting for Mom's night out! The talent is a joke. We signed up my DD for FNL and left after the first training session!

I live in Fairfax and have done several Golden Boot (GB) clinics over the years. The trainers have be fine but the problem is that it doesn't really draw any "top" players in my opinion. The 1v1 activity can be set up perfectly but if you are going up against some rec kid or low level travel player, there is no point. I know HP Elite used to screen players but even they stopped drawing top players. I know they started "DA only clinics". I'm not sure if GB screens for certain clinics or not.

Sorry, you have it all wrong. HP still has some of the area's top players from Loudoun ECNL all the way through DCU DA, we just finished friday night lights and a summer program and I can tell you there isn't a lack of talent out there.

Friday night lights??BWAHAHAHAHA! That is more like babysitting for Mom's night out! The talent is a joke. We signed up my DD for FNL and left after the first training session!

My kid had fun and played with and against mostly DA and ECNL kids from other clubs. To bad your kid and your kids team could never get off the losing team field.

I'm glad the ECNL and DA kids were there to help your kid have fun! They are now looking for better training environment.

I would not pay those prices for FUN - that's what the backyard is for. It is nice the DA kids were there to train your rec kid.

So did your kid spend time in the back yard on those Friday nights? Is your neighborhood chock full of DA and ECNL players to gather and play some pickup soccer?

One and done! Took a look around, got my money back and went home. Way better training options out there. IF all you are looking for is FUN for your kid, why pay for it?

We have weekly fall (and spring) skills classes on Sunday afternoons in McLean (just off the Beltway) and Fairfax (just off 66); programs have already started, but where space is available we're glad to welcome new players and prorate registration fees accordingly.
