My husband doesn't not know his license plate number

But if he “doesn’t not know” as the title states, then he does know.

I don’t know mine. I keep a photo of it in my phone.

What I meant was it’s normal to not know it.

High IQ here, but no, I don’t know my plate number. Why would I put any energy into memorizing that?

I didn't even try to memorize mine, just seeing it daily made me memorize it. How is this hard?

Who looks at their license plate daily? Why?

Because it’s on my car. I observe the world around me. -np

Do you also know your VIN number?

Yes. Also, get counseling.

My brain is too full to memorize my license plate. If I did, then some other memory would have to go in order to make room for that useless piece of information.

Anonymous wrote:It's really weird to me. When he takes the car in to the shop and they ask him his plat number, he does not know. He called insurance after someone rear ended him, they asked for his plate number and he was like " hold on, I will go check."

He says there is no point in memorizing something he can look up. He has had this plate for many many years.

This is not normal at all.

I don't know mine either. Maybe you are the abnormal one? Lol.

I don’t know mine but I do know my credit card number, employee number, probably 20-30 work related phone numbers- useful things.

No. It’s longer and about 1/100th the size on the vehicle.

It has never occurred to me know my license plate number. Why on earth would I need to memorize that?

Anonymous wrote:I dont know mine either. I knew the one on my first car, but it was easier to remember- 3 letters, space, 3 numbers. Now I just have a string of letters and numbers all mixed.

I also remember my first cars lisence plate. I had it from 1995-98. I dont remeber a single plate since then including my current one.

I do know my DL# but Ive noticed others have to check their card. I assume its more common to know than not (unlike plates).
