My husband doesn't not know his license plate number

Some people memorize numbers easily, like my mother, who is like you and simply cannot fathom how people don't know these BASIC FACTS! She is surrounded by lazy/stupid people, clearly! I'm sure you think so too.

I used to, with 6 digit 3 letter/3 number combo. But the newer formats - I don't bother.

I know mine, mostly because I have had it for 15 years, but really how often does anyone need this information that they have it memorized?

I don’t know them for either car. And we’ve had them for 12 years. I used to know phone numbers but now I just look them up.

In fact, no one in my office knows theirs— I know because we had to turn in a list for security clearance and we had to send someone out to photograph the license plates.

I also don’t know DH or DS’s SSN. I look those up on old tax forms as needed.

I don't know mine, either. I have enough passwords and information overload already. I don't need to memorize a number that I would need once in a blue moon, especially I can look it up myself via Insurance app.

I don’t know mine either. For hotel check ins and auto repair I check picture of my plate I have in my phone! Who cares?
