Also, I would like to know the solution. This is very frustrating.

The solution is not to look. Literally out of sight, out of mind.

What happens when this hard training stops? Does the cellulite reappear?

Female here... I am not a body builder but I lift regularly and my body fat is in the low 16%s which is within or very close to the range of a female body builder. I have some minor cellulite on my upper thighs most of the time. There is only one way I have found to make it go away- walk twice a day for a total of 10-13 miles per day, every day, for a month or so. But this is incredibly time consuming so I don't do it often. I don't need to look perfect.

Female body builders have like 10% and sometimes even less fat. That’s why they lose their periods and are all vascular. Trust me, even if you’re in shape and fairly muscular, you are nowhere near the level of a body builder.

When I’m at the pool, I can always tell who has been on the pill for 20 years.

It’s astounding how dumb this is and how you manage to slut shame people with cellulite because you believe it was caused by long term birth control. Like, this might be the most bizarre comment I have ever read on DCUM.

I’ll go against the grain here and say look at your diet. I have cellulite on my legs and arms. I’m 5’2 and 137. Six pack abs. I lift. The ONLY time that the cellulite drastically reduces is when I’m only eating nutrient dense foods. No junk, no snacking. Also, if you drink, that could be an issue. After about 3 weeks I usually see a difference and it disappears around 4-6 weeks. I do this when I know I’m going to the beach.

I use that lotion on my bingo wings and undercheeks from Avon. I notice just a small difference but it looks better than it used to.

what does your lower body lifting routine look like and what weight are you using? Have to been increasing weight over time? What rep ranges are you using?

You may actually benefit from focusing on lower body exercises with heavy weight and eating in a slight calorie surplus. In order to put on muscle you need to eat in a calorie surplus and gain some weight. If you lift heavy while eating in a surplus you will put on muscle and maybe a little fat. Nothing crazy, but if you eat a few hundred calories extra each day and lift you will put on muscle over time. Then you can go through a cutting phase to lose any fat you may have also put on.

Moisturizer will help, it lessens the differences between the two textures. Same with staying hydrated.

LOL The only person who said anything about "sluts" is you.

Were you skinny fat? That would cause it.

+1. I didn’t know about this until recently, that the key is in to cut after bulking.

You don’t have to say it to imply it. “It’s that hormonal birth control you used for 20 years” clearly has misogyny all over it. You’re the one judging women’s bodies at the pool too, a-hole.

OP, are you doing steps ups (on bench) and walking lunges? If not, I would add those to your workouts. Also, keep that skin moisturized--that will help a bit. I would also drop carbs, sugar, caffeine and alcohol from your diet or at least limit as much as you can.

It ain’t worth it to drop everything good to eat from your life for the backs of your legs, which you don’t see and which are not even exposed half the year, to look nominally a bit better. And I am a very vain person.
