Boarding a brand-new kitten for 10 days?

Is this a foster mom or is it a woman who has kittens from her own cat? It's weird she "Venmoed you back the money".


No it's not - I'm sure OP put down a deposit on the adoption fee, and the foster was returning that money since the kitten was being adopted to someone else. It sounds very normal. I work in animal welfare.

Yes. The foster mom acted like that was the norm. She said it covered shots, microchip, and spay. That seemed reasonable since our neighborhood vet wanted over $300 just for the spay.
