| Doing something out of line, then telling any woman to “relax”. |
| i hate it when a man tries to white knight a situation where it's very clear the woman is wrong |
You want equal rights, you got to accept equal responsibility. Hold your own damned door open, |
I remember one day my husband opened a door for a woman and she said “I can open my own door, thank you” and I said “he opens the door for everyone even rude people.” I felt so good and my husband just smiled. |
Equal rights as citizens does not mean I believe or want to live in an asexual genderless society where men and women treat each other with the exact same curtesy. Maybe some do, and that is fine. I will always hold a door if I arrive to it first and someone, man or women, is behind me. The gentlemen grab it and insist I go first. But some men don’t. I don’t hold it against them, I’m glad to hold it too- but I wouldn’t consider them husband material. |
Because my husband was sitting right next to me and he had been introduced to him. |

Instead of acting like a door mat why not say you expressed the same idea 15 minutes ago. |

I am generally turned off by people:
-with colorful sexual history, they are statistically more likely to have known and hidden STDs -entitled people -narcissist -egotists -psychophats and sociopaths -addicts (to anything) -people obsessed with certain hobbies -people who put their needs over their children's needs (if they are divorced) -people who use abortion as contraception -people who don't care about the environment -people who either obsess over or neglect pets -people with bad grammar, punctuation, and spelling. |
I’m generally turned off by list-makers |
