This will sound weird, but he's one of a handful of celebs who just seems like he has that combination of small dick/small physical stature/alt teen idol thing that makes it likely he is into teens for these very reasons. I'd already assumed this was exactly who he was.

"tried to be her boyfriend" (his words) is clearly not the same as dating. I've been in the same room as guys who wanted to get with me too. We weren't dating.

A List rock star (at the time), backstage, exchanged phone numbers, hanging out, dorm visits. It was obviously a little fling. Now she is grossed out by her slumming phase, or whatever, and is rewriting the narrative. She's damn near flirting with calling him a rapist, but that would of course force her to admit there were hookups. I find her behavior really disturbing.

NYC is made up of five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx. Manhattan is its own island. Staten Island is its own island. The Bronx is part of the mainland U.S. Brooklyn and Queens are on the physical island also known as Long Island, but are not part of what anyone refers to as Long Island. The physical island is made up of four counties: Queens, Kings, Nassau and Suffolk. Kings County is Brooklyn. Queens County is Queens. These are both part of NYC, no one calls them Long Island. When people say "Long Island," they are referring to Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Natalie Portman grew up in Jericho, which is in Nassau.

PP who grew up near Natalie Portman, I was a year ahead of her and had friends who went to school with her. At that point in her life, she was not sleeping with anyone and was a pretty uptight prude. The classic Natalie story at that time was her excuse that no one asked her to prom because boys only asked girls to prom for one thing, and she was not the kind of girl who would give them that one thing.
