I got a kick out of the fact that they cancelled an interview they were going to do and are now trying to sell their story. They are just a couple of crazies.

Wasn't there a society page writer at the Dinner who saw them and wondered how the heck could they have been invited? And then the couple bragged about it on their Facebook? page?

They weren't on the official invite list that was released to the media, so people immediately noticed that-- they just weren't sure if that meant the list was incomplete or if the couple had actually crashed.
