LOSERS. If this is their idea of getting a life, then maybe they should do something to **deserve** an invitation. WHAT a concept. From someone who has lived the life. |
What exactly do you mean by 'lived the life'-just curious? |
|
I have met this couple a few times at events and I was disgusted at what they did. I actually met them 6 years ago and thought they were nice ppl but for the past few years they have seem to be serial attention seekers - they show up to every single event, hob nob politicians and celebrities and have even auditioned for the real housewives of DC.
What they did was just ridiculous but I am sure they did it to win the spot on Bravo since they are just runner ups right now. They own a winery called Oasis that used to do pretty well and from what I read they are tanking now. They must be trying to "sell" their story to pay off some debt. This is a really sad attempt to fame. They need to really get a life, I was disgusted when I heard the story but not surprised at all either. |
| The woman should be indicted for her dress choice alone! |
| They have painted such a terrible picture of themselves. It is now out in the open that their winery is bust, their Aston Martin has been repossessed and they are named in 16 different law suites. This I learned just watching several minutes of NBC news. |

My HUGE problem with this is a security issue. Honestly, whoever dropped the ball on this, and allowed these people in needs to be FIRED!!
Honestly, what if they were carrying Anthrax or something? And, not only for Obama's safety, but another world leader? What if they were Pakistani terrorists who were able to sneak in and hurt the PM of India? Can you imagine the international fiasco that would cause? This was insane! |

Do NOT back these people up. There are plenty of people who have legitimate charities, but this couple is not - they are only litigious (all public record, look it up). They are on Facebook. They are posers and wannabes that make the Balloon Boy family pale in comparison. Tell them so. "D.C. Wannabes Gone Awry" is the only show they legitimately qualify for. I believe "Lived the Life" means *legitimately* attended these events and have *positively* contributed to society (ie: not for self promotion). Further elaboration would not be provided by someone who has taken part, it's not part of such protocol; any more than 7 hours grooming preparation and a make up person following. They truly, need a life. |
I'd like to hear more about this please!!!
|
I was just coming on to post the same. Please, PP who previously lived near the Israeli embassy, do tell! |
Did you go into the pokey for "disorderly conduct"? Or do you need to be someone of color for that?
|
I actually liked her choice of a dress - beautiful color, material, India inspired (bowing to the occasion). |
| Wonder if black and white stripes will be as flattering-tee hee. |
Yeah, the whole business was bizarre and tasteless... except that dress. I liked it too. |
| Now we're getting to the heart of all this bizarre tastelessness-it doesn't matter who I offend, how many people get fired, how many cops waste their time looking for my child, the point is that I looked great while creating all this hysteria. The celebrity worship mind set of our society (in which we create heros out of makeup and dress) has so infected people that even so called educated persons are willing to make themselves look like idiots in the pursuit of the proverbial "fifteen minutes of fame". As long as the majority of us continue to be so vapid, we have no one to blame for the endless banality but ourselves. |
| Hey, Michaele, could you dye your hair back to a shade found in the realm of nature? |
