I think people hear Lululemon and assume tight fitting stretchy yoga gear? Lulu makes leisure wear and their men’s pants look almost like normal slim fit dress slacks. Paired with sporty vests or cashmere sweaters or Lulu hoodies, it’s a trendy look. But idk what office or professional career allows this daily no less. |
| That’s basically what my husband wears at his start up job when he’s not on site with a client (minus the in shape part... LOL) |
| He is a made man. |
It’s a trendy coder bro look, I think. And casual finance bros? I do have young nephews who recently graduated from college that are inside sales, and they can wear anything they want to work. Some kids apparently come dressed like total slobs. |
So tech? |
AWS doesn't pay everyone that well. |
after you boink him |

I wear Lulu everyday and work from home full-time with really flexible hours. My spouse has his own consulting business and flexible hours, works from home some days, can start later, etc. and will often workout before work.
There are so many people with flexible schedules, working from home or early semi-retired in our neighborhood. That guy would not stand out at all. I’m sure people don’t think I work because I’m out in workout clothes on breaks or at Whole Foods in workout gear. |
Amazon (Web Services) IT employees work from home and make well into six figures? Or you mean they can wear whatever they want to office? |
My teenage son would wear these (not gay) and my teenage nephew would, as well (might be gay). The term used to be metro sexual. It describes straight guys with great hygiene, hair, slim build and fabulous clothes. Not gay son and might be gay nephew both metro sexuals. You should see what DS is wearing tonight for an award ceremony, you'd think he's gay. |
Same here. Just got back from trader joes in my athleisure..made my lunch now back to work! |
No one is questioning whether or not you work because you're wearing atheleisure - you're a woman. Men however, different standard. |
Anything creative that can be done remotely like writing novels, screenplays, long form articles, making documentaries or films, etc. He could also be into design or has a popular radio show or podcast that you haven't heard of. |
It's funny you bring this up because IME a lot of these men got into gay relationships once it became socially acceptable to do so (but don't always label themselves "gay" - apparently you can have sex with men but not be gay). There's been a big shift in acceptance of gay relationships since the early 2000s when this term first surfaced. |
| He could be a developed. Lot of those guys don't work every day and hire managers to go on site for them. |
