So tired of blowdrying my hair!

I was doing the rough dry with hair dryer then Revlon thing, but after about a year I found that I was frying my ends, even with heat protectant product. I recently splurged and got the Dyson Airwrap and it’s a game changer. Today I went from hair that was quite wet (maybe 10 min of air drying) to looking like I had a blowout in under 15 minutes. The tool is very lightweight, so it’s not tiring to use and still pretty novel and fun for me. It was an investment but so far I think well worth it to not hate doing my hair, to be able to go from wet to not just dry but nice in a short amount of time, and maintain my hair’s health.

Tell me more about this Dyson Airwrap...it's a blowdryer?

In reference to the dyeing drier making your hair feel like straw - I had the same thing happen but it goes away after a short time (15 min?).... I think the drier is just so darn powerful it really takes all the moisture out. It ends up back to normal though so I wouldn’t let this be a reason to not get one! It’s the best drier I’ve owned.

It’s a styling device with several attachments - dryer, paddle brushes, round brush, and two sizes of barrels. It uses the forceful air with heat - but not as much/high heat as other stylers - to dry and style.

I have a huge amount of wavy, fine hair. I’ve never been able to let it air dry because it looks crazy— super poufy and out of control. But someone on here recommended a great product for air drying: IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel. It is amazing. I wash my hair at night, run a little of this product through towel dried hair, and go to bed. I wake up with soft, natural waves that look gorgeous. It’s not crunchy like most gels. Life changing product for me!
