Well, this thread is from 2019.

Traditional pink for nails and pink/hot pink for toes.

I think it depends on your skin tone. I have very fair skin with olive undertones, and blue polish makes me look dead. Its horrible.

This is the WORST trend. Butter yellow for a pedicure really gives 'toenail fungus'!

You sound like my mother. Who complains every time I put blue on my nails. I’m 43.

I'm 43 and I agree that those colors are awful - so trashy!

I get so many compliments with baby blue toes. I just had a 60-year old male neighbor tell me he loved my nail color. I dress very classy, btw.

I only have fingernails buffed or wear very light blush. I keep them very short.

I think some of the hot punks scream grandma, along with the mauve shades.

“I dress very classy,” LOL.

I really like this color, too, and think it looks good on dark to light skin tones. I just googled 2019 summer nail colors and In Style basically lists every color from hot pinks to corals to light blues to whites. So I say go with what you like OP because it all seems to be on trend .

Every season, I google the nail polish colors for inspiration and so much is listed as on-trend that I can't imagine what is off-trend. Agree with just going with what you like. (And yes, I realize this post is old - but same sentiment still applies!)

I find hot pink dated.

Well it’s not like they are inventing new colors. lol Fall/winter shades tend to be darker than spring/summer.

I get what I like- I often ask my husband too.

I have olive skin and baby blue looks great. Pale pink looks awful on my toes
