And I find it funny that some fans are bitching about Akoye not being in the movie enough. This movie is about the OG Avengers, so they'll be in it mostly. I'm sure after this Phase, she'll be in more of the future movies. Come on, even many other Marvel characters didn't have a lot of screen time.

OTOH, Ant-Man ended up being the lynchpin for all this and he certainly wasn't an OG Avenger. I'm surprised they couldn't have had one of the Wakandans in there (or one of Doctor Strange's friends) as they found room for Rhodes, and they included Rocket (Guardians) and Ant-Man (newer Avenger). (Also surprised Captain Marvel was absent for 80% of the movie.) Of course planning the all-female strike force was a WONDERFUL counterpoint to Birds of Prey (DC Extended Universe's all-female movie in 2020).

Of course now that time travel exists in the MCU there is going to be stuff based on that, and some of the not very nice folks will be using it for not very nice purposes.

These are pretty probable for Phases 4-6:
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Black Widow (probably a prequel, 2020 at earliest)
A movie about the Eternals. There's evil Eternals called Deviants as well, including a certain villain named Thanos. (2020 at earliest)
Doctor Strange 2 (sometime in 2021?)
Black Panther 2 (2021 at earliest)
Guardians 3 (2021) Will Guardians 3 include Thor? They might move on to Valkyrie if she is going to play a bigger role in Phase 4.
Shang-Chi aka trying to break every box office in China and apologizing for turning an actual Asian character into a White woman (Doctor Strange's mentor the Eternal One).

I'd be surprised if these DIDN'T happen
Captain Marvel 2 - possible introduction of Kamala Khan
Ant-Man 3 - possibly folding him into an earth-bound comic relief team like the Great Lakes Avengers (and of course this means - Squirrel Girl!)

Other characters that might appear (these are my guesses only). Of course you can only introduce so many heroes in so many movies.
* Will Nice Hulk be making any more movies? He's only featured in one so far.
* There's going to be an all-female movie unless Birds of Prey TOTALLY bombs.
* Of course a Guardians/Great Lakes Avengers mashup would be nice at some point, should a new comic relief team be necessary (we've already got Ant-Man as earth-bound comic relief).
* If the Phase 4-6 evil mastermind isn't from the Eternals/Deviants, Doctor Doom might decide to make an appearance. There's others of course.
* A Fantastic Four reboot would be quite easy at this point given that the previous movies bombed (as in didn't even make $200MM WORLDWIDE).
* X-Men universe + Deadpool/X-Force will get major changes now that everyone is in one happy family. I think Sony has some rights to Spider-Man - are there any other characters that Disney/Marvel doesn't have all the rights to now? NO freaking idea how you'd fit Deadpool into the MCU except a VERY VERY VERY brief cameo. I mean there could be some reference to having to be family friendly or the such. (Possible he could become the new Stan Lee cameo.) You're not going to see full integration of the two universes until I'm collecting Social Security (I'm 44).

Rhodes has been in the movies since Iron Man, so he is like an OG Avenger, so his screentime along with the others here makes sense.

There wasn't; my boys stayed to the bitter and sat staring at a black screen for a shockingly long time. And can I just say I was thrilled that there was a huge line at the Men's room and only two of us ladies in the Ladies room!

There was no end scene during the credits in this one. At the very end of the credits there was the sound of metal being hammered, which is a throw back to the original Iron Man.

Gamora from the past ran off and I think that's probably what they'll build Guardians 3 off of which is finding that Gamora. I hope Thor gets to join them on it since James Gunn got hired back and in my opinion writes the funniest Marvel movies (Guardians franchise).

I am glad Cap got his happy ending as he was by far my favorite character since he first jumped on the bomb in Captain America. I also liked Peggy Carter (including her short lived series on ABC--Agent Carter).

I wish Coulson had been brought back from the tv series to make an appearance (loved him in Captain Marvel).

Thought the scenes with Thor were funny. Particularly Downey's calling him Lebowski.

Paul Rudd did the best acting job in this movie though after seeing it twice now.

The biggest question I was left with was if Thanos was too strong for even the super heroes to get him without the infinity stones/gauntlet, then how the HELL did Iron Many get it from him at the end?

Marvel got the mind stone off, which weakened the effect and allowed Thanos to be distracted (like he didn't realize that one was gone) and that let Iron Man get the rest, then the mind stone flew back to the glove and he had them all.

Because they never actually named her husband, they can retcon it and say that Cap was her husband all along. Maybe they kept it a secret for the sake of the space time continuum or something. But if Gamora never goes back, she never appears in first to Guardian movies etc??

No they explained all that in the very funny sequence about how everyone has time travel messed up in their heads due to bad movies. LOL!

There's the whole "you can't really change the future" thing they kept going on about, so those kids had to be born. Which means.....Peggy cheated on Cap with the man who should have been her husband, got pregnant, and had the kids.

No, his personal time line is straight, even though it appears to wrap backwards around itself like a mobius strip. At the moment he went back in time to return the stones and have the second personal lifetime, that second lifetime was his future even though it happened in the past of the world timeline. He got to live that period of time twice (and may have run into his former self doing the opposite things), but if you stretched out the mobius strip, it would be one straight personal timeline.

I really enjoyed the epic battle scene, and I thought the fan service was good. As far as MCU movies go though, I think Infinity War and Civil War were better.

Absolutely heartbroken. Black Widow was my favorite character and she got screwed in almost every movie, including this one. She didn’t even get a damn funeral. And now they’ve poisoned the well for her movie. I’m so sad.
