| I think she has a lot of children but not 38. I just don't believe it is medically possible to deliver that many quadruplets and triplets and not die from childbirth because you don't have access to quality medical care. The chances of her dying in childbirth from not having access to c-sections, infections, one multiple child dying in uterus, prolapse from so many pregnancies, etc. is too great. Then financially how could she work with so many babies. In different news stories the order of the multiple pregnancies changes. One story it as first four sets of twins then next story it was twins, triplets, and quadruplets. |
| Why couldn’t she just go to planned parenthood? Not seeing the problem here. |
Are you joking? |
| last several republican US presidents cut off international funding for family planning as one of their first acts of office. Intervening democratic presidents restored it as one of their first acts. |
| I’m sure she has many children, but not 38. No way could so many high-multiple pregnancies be survived by either the babies or the mother. If that many children do live with her, they’re likely mostly relatives’ kids. |
She had a number of kids who did not survive the multiples. |
Yes, because it’s SO EASY to fight off a grown man as a teenager. Please stop arguing that any of this is her choice. Forcing a 12–year-old to have sex is rape. Period. If you don’t buy that, you’re a monster yourself. |
According to the story, she wanted 6 children. At 13 years old, she was apparently happy to become pregnant and have babies. To say that it was rape is to deny her agency. It was only as the babies kept coming that she wanted the pregnancies to stop happening. |
You do know a 13 year old can not consent. |
I would like that very much! My one parent's side of the family is from WV and most of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are, in general, terrible parents. |
| I'm a single mother myself without much to spare but I will definitely be making a donation to the Go Fund Me. Hopefully even an extra $20 will make a difference. |

The people talking about this women as if she were an animal that needs to be neutered or are merely shaming her for sex/procreation--do you consider yourselves ethical, moral people?

| I did start a Go Fund Me for Mariam Nabatanzi. You can see she sends updates on what the money is used for. Which has been school fees, goats, a water tank (not a hot water heater). I understand she couldn’t get tubal ligation because of the concerns about hyper ovulation. I send the money to the Reuter’s Journalist, Godfrey, and he takes the money to her. She then sends me photos that I post on Go Fund Me showing what she’s doing with the money. Here is the link and check out the updates I post. https://www.gofundme.com/f/mariam-nabatanzi-and-her-38-kids |
| Here is the link to the article written by the Reuters reporter who helps her a lot. https://www.monitor.co.ug/Magazines/Full-Woman/At-37--she-has-given-birth-to-38-children-/689842-3899976-xff7xc/index.html |

Wow, this woman is very lucky she didn’t die in childbirth.
I would have died. |
