Her husband forced her to have children.

Her grandmother found out she was being abused and got her away from her husband.

She has a condition that makes it impossible to do a tubal.

The condition is called a terrible medical system. She eventually had a tubal at 36, after her last pregnancy.

Her story is so sad, and having all of her siblings murdered by her step-mother. She was 12 when she married a 40 year old man. no words.

Exactly. This story is horrendous not because of this woman's actions, but because of her LACK OF CHOICE.

There was supposedly a Russian woman who gave birth to 69 kids - 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of triplets and four sets of quadruplets in over 27 separate labours

She asked doctors for birth control or tubal ligation for years and they denied her. She didn't choose all of the insanity.

Although it seems to me that many of her kids need to grow up and move out on their own.

She hasn't heard of abstinence?

Who even has time for gettin' busy if you're raising 38 children? We have enough trouble and we only have 2!

STFU. Do you live in Uganda? Do you think she had a choice in any of this? Spousal rape is not even recognized as rape in many countries you ignorant twit.

So now she is a rape victim on the grounds of having a husband?
Yes, she was a child. What is wrong with you?
Perhaps he could have gotten the snip

Yes, she was a child. That qualifies as rape. You really think she wanted any of this? What is wrong with you?

I heard about that woman but I don't remember that she was estranged from her husband, raising those children alone.

She was married off at 12 to a man who was 40. She was pregnant by 13. Read a bit more about her background in the many news articles online.

She has a choice. She just didn't choose to stop having sex. This wasn't divine intervention.

I am sure the man who beat her starting when she was sold to him as a child bride would respect her wishes when she said no.

If she has so many children why did it seem like there were only 12 or so kids wandering around in that video?

She has had 39 freaking babies and doesn't have any wrinkles! Damn the black don't crack thing must be true. Her skin is so pretty.

Or maybe both. At 36 she did not have the same condition she had at 28.

She said her husband left her so maybe now that she's single and her husband has moved onto greener pastures maybe the doctors were more willing to help her.

The whole thing is just sad.

I don't think you understand what life is like in countries where women are forced into marriage as children. Which she was. Women are not seen as full citizens, fully capable of making decisions within their marriage as their own. There is no such thing as "refusing sex" to your husband. F*ck, it was just recently in the good old USA that spousal rape became something that could be prosecuted. So no, it is not as simple as saying no to the man who married you when you were 12 years old.
