Christ Brinkley looks crazy now

Anonymous
This thread points out how skewed many some people's idea of what looks good has become in the age of plastic surgery. I wouldn't use the word "crazy", there are certainly worse examples of overuse of plastic surgery, but she looks unnatural. Many of us on board with the way of thinking that these unnatural-looking faces are attractive. The weird-factor overcomes everything else. She has always been such a beautiful woman; the weird factor just ruins it for some of us.

Not bad, by any means; she looks beautiful. But she just looks unnatural.

My mouth is slightly crooked like that, but it's from Bell's palsy.

Permanent or temporary?

I had it when I was 5, and I think my smile is still slightly crooked as a result. Hers looks more pronounced—if she had it, maybe it was more recent or more severe. Just a guess.

Oh c’mon, PP. there’s no comparison.

This.

And I find it interesting that we have another thread bashing Celine Dion for looking too old and too thin. Had she had plastic surgery, she would look better but unnatural.

She will always be beautiful, but I think she started going too far over the line about 7 or 8 years ago. That picture is one of the more flattering recent pics of her floating around.

I'm usually one of the plastic surgery boosters on the B&F forum who insists that it is definitely possible to get good work done. Christie Brinkley was a great example of a beautiful celebrity who maintained herself impeccably for many years. You can find pictures of her in her early 50s with faint crows feet looking so natural and stunning. Now, every wrinkle is filled, her skin looks yanked, and she's got a Joker smile, which might be further distorted by some unknown to the public medical issue.

I think you can definitely slow the clock for a few decades with different procedures, but at a certain point you still have to be okay with aging or you are just going to look crazy (no matter how stunning you were to start out with).

I think she looks really good.

Never fill your lips. It always ends up looking like the Joker eventually. The lips never go back to normal after years of fillers and compounds as the years move on. It doesn’t dissolve naturally/evenly. Meg Ryan, Lisa Rinna, Brandi Melville just aboutevery Real housewife.

Add Gwen Stefani to the list.

I'm so confused why Gwen Stefani has made herself into a cheap playboy playmate.

I'm usually one who hates plastic surgery but I think she still looks pretty freaking amazing
