Nothing good ever comea from years of drinking and smoking. It eventually catches up with you.

I hope he pulls through. Very sad.

I had a massive stroke at 40. Never smoked a day in my life, don’t drink and have no other risk factors. It happens. I wish him the best - it sucks.

I read that he was alert and talking when the paramedics got to his house but that he quickly went downhill and was rushed to the hospital. It isn't clear if he is in a medically induced coma or if he's simply sedated.

I have no clue what the standard treatment for a stroke is. Hope he pulls through o.k. Poor guy is only 52.

Sorry, I don't have a link. I think it was TMZ but I can't say that for certain. When I found out about this I was reading the info as it was breaking.

Poor guy.
He’s awfully young for a health crisis.
Hope he pulls through okay.

I’m in the middle of a health crisis right now and I’m 41 and in decent shape/relatively healthy otherwise. Shit happens. I’ve never smoked, done any drugs, and have only ever been a social drinker. The docs all look at me and say how unusual it is to see someone with my build and relatively clean health history dealing with what I am. Effing bad luck all around.

Did you have high blood pressure or heart disease?

NP, but wouldn't those count as "other risk factors"?

Our friend's baby had a stroke in utero and didn't smoke, drink, have high blood pressure, or heart disease.

Does sound like he’s going to make it.

Sorry, but this is Hollywood and I am skeptical.
Could ‘stroke’ be code for drugs/accident/suicide attempt?

Has there been any news since yesterday? I’ve seen everything from under observation to in a medically induced coma.

It's totally possible. However, I love him, and I hope that he makes a full recovery and can go on being the grizzled but hot dad on Riverdale.
