I can't complain about a decision based on fiscal responsibility. Portables are a lot less costly than rebuilding an additional school or converting a hospital space into a school.

But in the long run this will still mean MCPS has no holding school available for middle or high schools. If they renovate and reopen Broome now, it could be that site into the future.
