
Wow Tell me, when did America become a monolingual country? The native americans were not English speaking, only a handful of the very first European immigrants were English speaking. It is a strange co-incidence that once upon a time somebody decided that English should be the language, but even then everybody was not English speaking. When illegal immigrants have a child born in the US, that child is automatically a citizen under current law. So the parents are here illegally, but the child is here legally as a natural born citizen. Should deportation procedures ever be started, the parents then claim they need to stay here to care for their US citizen child; the child effectively anchors them here in the US. Doesn't work all the time, but most. |
