What ever happened to your most significant ex?

He has five kids with two different women (is married to one of them). Tattoos everywhere, looks like a bearded lumberjack with a ponytail. He was clean cut/preppy when we dated, no tats. He was messaging me on FB when he was still with baby mama #1 (engaged to her but they never married) and telling me I was beautiful and he still thought of me. I told him I wished him well but he was being inappropriate, and declined his friend request. His wife is a sheltered religious girl 10 years younger than we are... I hope he is more loyal to her than he was to me and his other exes.

He’s gone on to be incredibly successful and apparently very happily married. Sadly, I haven’t. My parents didn’t approve of him for ridiculous reasons and I was too young and dumb to fight them. I broke up with him and for a year he did his creative best to get us back together. Then he moved on and eventually he found someone else. This was almost 30 years ago and I often wonder what my life would have been like if I had not let my parents break us up.
