TV news babes and their fake eyelashes

Sure, yeah, you've got it. We're not allowed to notice a noticeable beauty trend without the totally non-misogynistic claim that b*tches be jealous hags. Good one.

That said, getting eyelash extensions and fills are as normal for regular ladies where I live now as getting regular manicures are. Just a part of the grooming routine now.

Its a lot of upkeep and very expensive

Judging a woman by her looks is sexist.

I don’t care about anyone on TV but IRL daytime wear is crazy looking and makes women look like sex workers.

I’m not talking about anything natural looking like subtle single style lashes, but the 1 cm or longer kind that don’t taper and go from one end of the eye to the other.

Kylie Jenner’s face approved tenfold when she started wearing false lashes.

Do people not use eyelash curlers anymore??

Instead of gluing your lashes on, there are many great mascaras available that have the ability to open up your eyes.

A good, inexpensive one would be “Falsies@“ by Maybelliene I think.

I don't know why its so hard for people to grasp the difference between professional/well-groomed and sexy. You don't want to look "sexy" when you are trying to be taken seriously.

Thank you! The irony is that these women are already extremely attractive (or else they wouldn't be on TV). They all have very pretty eyes, too. So it's completely unnecessary, for just vanity reasons, to be wearing fake eyelashes. They're just so....obvious.

Even fake boobs are (usually) less obvious than fake eyelashes.

You have to be pretty smart to be on CNBC.

And pretty dumb to ascribe morals based on make up.

I think some people just can't stand that flamboyant ir sexy women can be smart and accomplished.

And since when are eyelashes sexy? They are eyelashes, fake or not.

I feel like a few years from now there will be a bunch of ladies running around with big artificial eyebrows and no eyelashes because they were ripped off by using so many fake eyelashes and they will wonder WTF they were thinking.

It's not eyebrow threading. Threading is for hair removal. You sound clueless.

She needs those fake eyelashes. Her eyes are too small, they probably disappear on camera.

Fake eyelashes are standard for any woman in the public eye. Look at Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, etc. It's normal. Don't hate on TV news ladies because they are hotter than you.

I don't wear falsies because they look weird on UMC women in professional environments. But if I were on stage or television, I'd use them like everyone else.
