Why is divorce always the answer to every thread?

Yep, this. You have one life to live. It should be lived in happiness and with people who love you. This is coming from someone who has been there and done that. Life is so much better single than with the wrong person.

Except this being a board with mostly moms and dads, it HUGELY IRREVOCABLY affects the kid(s). Life could be "so much better" for the person divorcing, if they turn a blind eye to their child(ren). So f'ingly self centered way of thinking. I am not the OP, but I wondered the same thing, why do some posters here immediately jump to suggesting divorce even in the nonextreme cases. Ours is an individualistic society that promotes selfishness by saying we need to pursue this elusive happiness.
