Political Discussion
They're both hot air - true opportunists. Trump went R b/c he saw the chance to capitalize on a group who felt threatened. AOC is no different. She's a twitter twit who loves to believe she's the savior of a fearful, quiet underclass. two ends of the spectrum, same objective, similar methods Divide and conquer . . . Refer to the women's march if you want evidence to support Macchievelli's successful method. |
DP. What an odd comment. Do you have some sort of mental incapacity? |
But Trump isn't a Twitter twit. No way. |
Unfortunately, your response was nowhere close to clever. However, if I'm reading you correctly, you're coming back at me, insinuating that I believe Trump's twitter rants are OK. If you read my post correctly, you'd see that I noted they were "two ends of the spectrum." So while I didn't directly come out and label Trump as a twitter twit, it's understood that he, too, loves misusing Twitter to further his agenda. all good now? |
No. How does Ocasio-Cortez misuse Twitter to further her agenda like Trump? |
Working class isn't synonymous with poor. You can be financially successful in a working class job. You can be poor with a white collar job. |
Have you ever raised teenagers? or taught them? If not, you certainly don't get AOC. |
I get her. I don't think you do. |
| Yeah, I agree she doesn't sound very working class |
Yeah, you don't sound very working class, so you wouldn't even know what working class is supposed to "sound" like. |
You are insane if you think her politics will play anywhere in the US outside of the Bronx. This exact statement is why Democrats are so out of touch. |
Lol, you know my Dad suggests that every time there is a shut down, and has for 40 years. I guess he’s brilliant too. |
Well then you've met your immature match - all hot air, no experience, little action. Likes attract likes. |
| Well, while you're sitting here complaining and thinking about her. She's a Congress woman. "Teenage twitter twit" has one on you. |
The only gripe I have is the assumption that working class people (self-employed or perhaps like someone else posted, making money "under the table") are not reporting taxes. I know 1) tipped workers who need their employer to report ALL their tipped income, because they have children and rely on EITC--if employer under-reports, they get shortchanged on EITC; 2) self-employed people (members of my own family) who most certainly do report their income and expenses as accurately as possible. If you want to talk about chiseling on taxes, please refer to the Trump Family. Might add that I have known couples where one has a white collar job and the other is blue collar/blue collar self-employed/blue collar part-time employed. As for where one is from--unrelated to divorce, but I lived in one area until age 4, another until 19, then back to the first area until 32. I freely declare myself to be "from" both places. |
