Wife wants an Apple Watch; I'm getting her a Fitbit. How much trouble will I be in?

fwiw-- EVERYONE I know who has bought an Apple Watch (including an early adopter) or Samsung smart watch has abandoned using it after 2 weeks.

Really? Everyone I know who has one loves it. (PS, I don't have one and am not interested... but just saying, people seem to like them.)

I can no longer imagine daily life without my Apple Watch. It literally functions as a phone on your wrist (I have the series two, so it's old but works perfectly).

Same. I don’t even know one person who stopped wearing theirs.

She should just be happy you got her something. Tell her get her own money and buy herself what she wants.,

My husband and I don’t do gifts but if we did I would never let them do gifts again after this because it’s just not worth it.

Spouses not giving gifts to each other her is odd to me. What is your rational, just curious?

Love, love, love my Apple Watch. It was a gift for Mother’s Day. Tell her that you’d be happy to exchange and that it was an honest mistake. I’m sure she’s already opened it by now. How did it go?

Haha! No. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love their Apple Watch. Mine is an extension of me at this point.

I am OBSESSED with my Apple Watch.
Early adopters are never satisfied with any tech.

OP, I'd really like to know how things worked out. Was she visibly upset or disappointed? Was it really not a big deal?

There's always Valentine's Day and Mother's Day on the horizon. And your DW will have a birthday at some point, as well.

Hope this wasn't really a disaster. Check back in!

Who gives a flying f$&@ over a watch?

Society has lost touch with what’s important.

A fookin watch?

Should be ashamed.

I bet the parents of the 8-year-old Congolese boy that retired NBA star Dikembe Mutombo helped travel to the United States to have a tumor removed from his face died on Friday
are figuring out what watch to give as a gift.
