Totally agree. He may not hit a billion but he’s already at nearly 11 million and climbing, this will turn into headline news everyday as it gets bigger and the pressure on liberals won’t be easy to hide.

Actually, I don’t think you get it. The Democrats got to hear about people’s priorities in the midterm election. Perhaps you are surrounded by people who really want this wall, but a paltry Go Fund Me is not going to contradict the midterm results. Most people know that this is folly.

I don’t think it’s even stealing. This guy’s entire pitch is... trust me, my twitter account has a blue check mark. Besides that, it is very light on details. He can probably get away with paying himself millions of dollars to study the legality of having private citizens build the wall. And issue a report saying

We don’t have open borders. Not anywhere close. And immigration is down. Legal and illegal. Illegal immigration has fallen from 1.6 million in 2000 to 304,000 last year. So why throw money at a problem that’s less and less a problem? Stupid public policy...

No one is hiding. Because no one cares. We think it’s funny to watch the truth on this “vet’s” past lies and schemes come out. And watch you get excited about handing your money over to a scam artist. Why are you not at least requiring that the money go to fund to fight fat, diseased, poor Brown People? Why are you okay with this vet ripping you off?

Only 32-33% of this county want the wall. The vast majority of Congress do not— Dem and Republican. And there may be nothing Democrats and their base want less. And any Democrat who voted for this would find that their 2020 primary opponent had millions donated to their PAC. I’m not sure why you think one crooked vet will change the hearts and minds of the democratic base. The blue wave just showed that the electorate wants the exact opposite of a shutdown over the wall. If you couldn’t get the wall for the last two years when the GOo has power, what makes you think we’ll cave as the Republican House is walking out the door? You’re desperate because we ran out the clock.

You are putting zero pressure on the Democrats, because the 32% of people who want a wall are Trumps base. They will never vote Democrat anyway.

And BTW, Mexico is supposed to be footing the bill. Why aren’t they? And why was it you could get a tax cut for billionaires on the GOP watch, but not the wall. Trump could have used reconciliation and gotten the wall with 50 votes. Why didn’t he?

No one is going to match his money or be inspired by this money. And this time ext year, he will be retired to a private island, and the wall will not be funded.
