Hubby jokes about interest in younger women

Op, you need to talk to him and get upset about his comments. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it’s hurtful and disrespectful. Forget about the women screaming divorce... this alone is not a big deal. I would also try to have more sex because twice a month is not enough for most couples.

Yep. the answer is not to get frumpier and more resentful. Use your womanly features to reign him back in - lose some weight, exercise, have sex with him more; I guarantee you that will stop/curb a lot of this silliness.

Woman here.

Yes, definitely. I'd start preparing for it and an eventual divorce. Very gross. I would not want to live this way.

I think there is a huge difference between making stupid and rude comments about women appearance and actually sleeping with other women

Eh, maybe. I wouldn't have much patience for this, nor for the suggestion that I need to sexy myself up for my man when he's acting like a jackass.

In my experience, men that have a wandering eye usually act on it. Ogling and flirting is already over the line. Acting on it is just the next step.

And read State of Affairs by Esthel Perel.

Has he lost his mind or has he always been this way? This would a huge deal breaker for me.

WHAT?

He is having a mid-life crisis. It's not about his wife. It's about his nostalgia for his youth and wondering about the path not taken.

Not PP - guy here but you are fooling yourself. You think mid life crises just happen out of the blue? It typically coincides with marriages getting stale, woman stops going the extra effort to look good, etc. Now, men SHOULD be doing the same - taking care of themselves, etc., but this isn't always the case/

18-24 women are the best. That will never change.

American women also let themselves go way too easily.

Latinas and Eastern European women put way more effort even as they age.

I can't believe there are people on here trying to blame the OP. Losing weight and dolling herself up, LMAO.

This is all about a man who has problems. He sounds like he's delayed emotionally. OP you need to call out his behavior as it happens, not fume about it later. Tell him he looks like a D to other people when he is staring or flirting with other women.

Tell him OP he acts like a perv! And how his co-workers may view him.

What's with the frequent use of "dolled up" in this thread.

Is it 1939?

"Saayyy, Bugsy, you're a real peach, a real tomato when you're all dolled up pretty like."

Essentially, you're mad that younger women are attractive and youre aging. And youre taking it out on him because he sees the attractive women.

Bizarre.

My DH is allowed to look but not touch, fawn or drool over younger women.

...uh, what? Did you read the OP? Either you did not read it or you are remarkably unintelligent

This isn't looking. This is creeper behavior, big difference. OP value your kids, and have a plan B. This guy isn't worth zip.
