BTW, could there be such a job as Thanksgiving Coach? Like, someone who creates your menu, shopping list, and the spreadsheet for you? How cool would that be!

I think your plan sounds great, op. Including the time ... I like finishing dinner, taking a walk, and then coming back for dessert!

The only thing I think I'd do differently is the green beans. I'd steam them in a few tablespoons of water in a lidded skillet, then add a part e of butter and some salt to briefly saute. It's really not any longer than microwaving, and tastes so much better.

Oh, and family would revolt if there were no sweet potatoes, but I'm guessing you know your guests!

The main difference from my schedule is that I make cornbread dressing, so I make the cornbread on Wednesday night (it's better if it's a little stale before going into the dressing).
