F*ck you.

And if a man came out now and said Kavanaugh beat him up outside a bar when he was 20, everyone would want it investigated to at the very least, go away.

If a man claimed that 30 years ago Kavanaugh stole 10K from him, everyone would want it investigated. It wouldn't even be a QUESTION. Even if Kavanaugh denied it.

No, they wouldn’t. They’d be like why didn’t you report that the statute of limitations has passed and no one would care.

Not true. There could be reasons why people wouldn't have reported it at the time.

People would care, and it would be investigated and quickly wrapped up if it was thought to be unfounded.

I wouldn’t care but I guess you’re just a sensitive soul.

I have expectations for people seeking high office, particularly in the Judicial branch.

The Anita Hill allegation was way less distant in time and more detailed than this one. The fact that this involved a bunch of rich high schoolers partying makes me care even less. A federal workplace has much clearer rules of interpersonal conduct.

They had jurisdiction and Anita made a formal complaint. Where is the formal complaint here?

You guys are terrified of the FBI investigation.

You need a code of conduct not to pull someone into a bedroom, climb on top, grind against her, fondle her, and cover her mouth? Holy crap dude. You need help.

Ridiculous.

Then she can't do math because she does remember she was 15....

Kavanaugh, too? Christine Blasey Ford's account is missing key details

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/1346536002

Ford can’t remember the year the incident happened, she can’t remember how she got to the house party, or how she got home. She told no one about it at the time and the issue came to the forefront during a couples therapy session six years ago. Her therapist’s notes never mention Kavanaugh and actually mention four boys involved, although she says there were only two.

So she remembers she was 15 but doesn’t know the year? SHADY BS

I expect all branches of government to be populated by very flawed humans and deal with that by trying to limit the authority of the government.

I think some are terrified, and some are just used to parroting right-wing media pundits.

Are you suggesting eliminating or decreasing the size of the judiciary?

Thomas should not have been confirmed. I think the Ford/Kavanaugh interaction was clearly out of line for any normal high schooler. I would not want my son to behave that way.

I’m actually a woman. Have you been to parties with drunk teenagers? It’s not a genteel gathering. People act ridiculous, both women and men. They flirt, they grind, whatever. I have no idea what happened and, based on what’s been said so far, I don’t care. #enoughalready

Please visit the other thread to see the many posts from people who have also been sexually assaulted and also don't have all the details.

DP, you seem to still be suggesting that the presence of any of what you listed justifies taking it several steps further.

In the context of the judiciary, it’s means appoint those with less activist philosophies.

Kavanaugh is not your man, then.

I posted this link to USA Today previously, and again a second time. I may have missed it on a previous page, and if I did, yes, I am lying. If it’s not on a previous page, it was removed.
