Would you buy a home someone was murdered in?

No!

It wouldn’t bother me unless it was common public knowledge and we would have to put up with looks loos, kids being dared to come on the property, compromised resale value, etc.

Never.

I always wondered how the buyers of Jon Benet Ramsey's house felt about their purchase.

Just looking at pictures of that house gives me the chills.

No. I don't think so. The new owners did some extensive remodeling so it looks different inside.

I’m surprised so many people say it wouldn’t bother them. I’m truly curious to hear your reasoning.

I knew one of the murder victims on the list. I remembered the day it happened. I clicked on the story and realized how many details I had forgotten. Wow.

I don't care about random murder but I lived next door to a house where a man had kidnapped, tortured and killed a number of tween / teen boys. I think he was convicted of killing 3 of them but I am not sure how many victims he had in total. There were remnants in the house of the murders with markings in the beams, rubbed they chains used to tie them up.

The house sat empty for years. I would not want to live in that house. Then a couple bought it.
