Jealous of men who fawn over their SOs on social media

Men should not be on Facebook.

It's effeminate.

Me too. The only thing more excruciating than the husband posts are the fact that the wife hits the like button almost as soon as he posts them. Yechh. Have some dignity FFS.

Knew a guy who cheated on his missus regularly. Would always write nice posts and how great of a mom she is and that she’s his best friend. It wasn’t a one off, this guy was a womanizer and a serial cheater

I don't like it - I prefer when people are more private, but whatever. Often times they're the ones that are the most hypocritical, and cheating.

A lot of bitter women on this thread.

I know one guy who did this, took a year long FB hiatus, returned as divorced! The other guy I know who dies this, regularly messages me for a booty call (ex hook up BEFORE he was married.) I obviously ignore the jerk!!!

I have the most loving kind DH in the world but in a million years he wouldn't post sweet nothings on Facebook.

A dude in my town does it. His wife eats it up and reciprocates with the postings. Apparently, she’s the only one in town not aware if his numerous affairs....

I agree. Plus they are more likely to cheat.

I was once told by An unemployed single mother who I was considering dating that I didn’t make enough money for her. I was making about $85k at that time. I moved on but wow can women be picky

Anonymous wrote:My take on this is I'll notice and appreciate a once-in-a-blue-moon shout-out to a spouse on FB. That, to me, seems like a genuine display of affection, pride, whatever, particularly if it's tied to a specific achievement. ("So proud of Larla, who graduated today with a Masters Degree after three years of night school. I love you, honey!")

OTOH, I find that couples who routinely fete their partners on social media are compensating for something.

Same here. A rare post celebrating a big accomplishment or something? Sweet. Frequent mushy performative posts--barf. If you love your spouse, just tell them.

Neighbor's just got divorced. Plenty of FB love over the last few months towards each other.
