This was a calculated move. Once Trump disavowed knowledge of the payment on April 6, he opened the campaign up to a FEC reporting problem. Anyone wanna wager that the first purported “repayment” took place after April 6 in the form of a retainer, with the balance after the FBI served the warrants on Cohen?

Avenatti is on Colbert right now. The appearance was taped before Giuliani stepped on his you know what tonight. Avenatti just showed a payment receipt to Stormy that came from a bank in CA. He suggests the CA Atty General can bring state charges. State charges can't be pardoned by Trump.
