Yeah, I’ve seen the “he is risen” and “I love god” but those weren’t necessarily inviting discussion, they were statements. As “religion” and “faith” themselves are broad topics, I’m curious what specifically you’d come here to discuss.

14:55 right above is an excellent example of pot stirring and derailment. On a thread about forum names, 14:55 is trying to rescucitate the the ribs thread, whatever that was.

NP. Nice try, but 14:55 wasn't the one who resuscitated the ribs thread but the poster to whom she was responding. That poster was complaining about "hate" and mockery on the forum. I'm an occasional poster on that forum and my sense is like the PP who asked about derailment. I think the believers claiming hate, derailment, mockery and overall prejudice are hyper-sensitive. More so than posters on the other boards.

When will you realize that your request is not going to happen regardless of how many times you or someone else requests it?

Yep, the moderator couldn't care less that the name “Religion forum” is false advertising. And posters like the ones above will continue to insult and derail, happy that they can even do it right under his nose on this Feedback thread.

But we can continue to point this out until he blocks us. You shouldn’t let that bother you.

Huh? Pointing out examples of hate (like what apparently happened on the the ribs thread) directly support the request to change the forum’s name. Trying to revive a dead thread’s content is off topic. You truly can’t see the difference?

I’d argue your response is being over-sensitive. And at least I personally think the over-sensitivity by some Christians is more of a derailment because they could easily ignore the comment than start name-calling.

FWIW, I did research the rib thing and even though I was definitely taught that men had fewer ribs than women, the argument is that God giving Eve Adam’s rib didn’t fundamentally change the genetics. So, there’s that.
