“Pruitt was described by numerous sources as a disastrous tenant, with one comparing him to Owen Wilson’s character in You, Me and Dupree. According to three people familiar with events, Pruitt would not take out the trash during his time staying at the townhouse believing that a cleaning service would do it for him. There was no cleaning service that came with the apartment, however. And the garbage bags piled up to the point that Vicki Hart was forced to tell him to put them in the canister and to take that canister out to the street the next time he left the building.”

If we want to get outraged about ever.single.thing, then it makes it look like we are just out to dig up dirt and it makes us look less credible. Let's leave the outrage to the truly bad things these people are doing.

BS

If this was completely normal he would have requested it from Congress, since that’s what the law says he has to do if he wants improvements to his office that cost more than $5,000.

+1. Let’s not normalize corruption. This administration will end someday and we need to go back to having professionals in the Government.

Metaphor for the Trump Administration.

$50 a night, plus an imaginary maid service that didn’t take out the trash, change the linens or clean. WTF?

Scott Pruitt is acting a lot like Warren Jeffs.

Good point.

And, somehow "liberals" are out to get rid of all the guns AND shoot Republicans at the same time. It boggles the mind. Wtf are they drinking?

Remaking the EPA would involve an open and transparent process where he would meet with all the stakeholders including industry representatives, consumer groups, environmental groups, scientists and economists to decide which regulations to pare back or get rid off.
Instead we hear that he is getting gifts from industry lobbyists, removing scientists from advisory boards and communicating in secret with industry lobbyists using multiple email accounts and a weird super secret phone booth. He is also using funds meant for the Safe Drinking Water act to pay his Oklahoma cronies unusually high (and unauthorized) raises and using security personnel who are part of the EPA's Criminal Investigation Division (which means they are not able to do this important job). He is also firing, demoting and sidelining anyone who questions his judgement including the career staffer who approved the EPA report (written in response to a FOIA request) that showed the EPA had not received any threats against Pruitt that might have justified his 20 person full time security detail. In a constitutional democracy with the rule of law, process matters.

No wonder Trump likes him so much.

No. He's just a pathetic poser compromising for deep insecurities.

Just like the pathological liar in the white house. Trying to appear bigger than he is.

Poser! Ridiculous.

Unprofessional and embarrassing. Embarrassed for him and his family. Dude! This is going to be in your Wikipedia page forever. Too bad you made a joke of yourself.
