Weight Watchers: How are you eating unsweetened yogurt?

It’s not about cheating. And it’s not a diet. It’s a way of living by making healthy, filling choices in reasonable portion sizes. You don’t go off this once the weight is lost. OP can eat the yogurt and count it as zero points. AND she can count anything added that does have a point value, such as a teaspoon of sugar. That’s not cheating. That’s just doing the program. It’s what I like about Weight Watchers—nothing is off limits. You just have to count it.

I have my Greek yogurt with fresh berries every morning. That is zero points. Like another poster suggested, try some different brands of plain nonfat Greek yogurt as each one has a different taste. I’m fine with Choboni or the Kirkland brand from Costco.

I do eat it plain most of the time. It took some getting used to but now I prefer it plain. Yogurt with the fruit mixed in is way too sweet for my taste now. Sometimes I'll eat it with fresh fruit. Pineapple, mango or blueberries. Maybe give Plain a chance for a few days and see if your tastebuds adapt.

I mix it into salsa--it's good on grilled or sauteed vegetables that way!

I opt for the 2% Fage plus a little sugar and a bunch of fruit. I just don't find the 0 fat stuff to be tasty or satisfying, so I'm willing to spend the points on it.

A little off topic, but I just made homemade bagels with greek yogurt and they are super easy and taste like real bagels.

I calorie count, not weight watchers, but this recipe for bagels made with greek yogurt is also weight watchers friendly (2-3 points depending on toppings).

smoothies aren't zero points

Can someone share the list of zero point foods?

About to start WW and am wondering, which brands of nonfat Greek do people like? I’m usually a 2% or a full fat Fage fan, and do no like the nonfat Fage.

Tia!

to the pp: The Fage non fat is horrible. I prefer the one from Trader joe's, wegman's and chobani. I think you have to try a bunch and see what works for your taste buds.

I think this can become a dangerous food option. I've already made them three times this week (I make half recipe) and they are just delicious with so many flavoring options.

I don't remember the 2 ingredient pizza crust I tried last year tasting nearly this good, but I might have to revisit that.

Ww is still pushing the low-fat/ nonfat nonsense, I see.

Actually no. WW gives you a bank of "points" to spend a day. People figure out ways to maximize those points via low point recipes. I don't eat those kinds of foods, personally. I prefer sticking to protein and fruit and veg over the engineered foods.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with eating a low fat diet, too much fat personally makes me queasy and I don't find things like butter and oils to be worth the calorie hit on the vast majority of foods.
