Nazis tend to be anti Christianity because of its basis in superstitions |
I think the media also has some blame for what is going on. What if the shooter had posted some ISIS tendencies? I bet that would be all over the national news in a heart beat. Of course the current administration will jump on that too. The media needs to beat the drums and make people scared of folks with Nazi tendencies much the same media has made people scared of ISIS. Such a tragic story and unfortunately a hard lesson on hate that has to be learned by the daughter. Let's hope she will take that lesson to heart and do something good in life and just maybe the parent's death would not be in vain and they made the ultimate sacrifice. |
Buckley is the name of the mother who was shot. She ran "Buckleys for Seniors" in Great Falls. She is a wonderful human being as was her husband Scott. |

Can the parents of the Nazi be charged? Did he obtain the weapons from his parents, unsecured?
Probably not for (likely) influencing his hateful views, though. |
| When I was a teen, my parents tried an intervention on my sister and her bf because he was a druggie. That obviously didn't work because my sister and BIL just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Parents need to lighten up. |
| Does anyone know which school they attended? I googled and found their names on a document from Potomac, but not necessarily in the context of the daughter attending (I’m on my phone and it was hard to read because of the format). |
What does it matter? |
| The first report of "neo-nazi" came from Fairfax Underground. Then NBC and WaPo reports it as real news without collaboration. Until all the facts come out don't predispose he is a white kid who is a neo-nazi. |
The family's comments to the Post seem to corroborate that |
|
I can't believe the posts here downplaying the boy's deranged beliefs or suggesting that the Post reported it "without collaboration." (Do you mean confirmation, PP??)
And btw they do have confirmation, from friends of the murdered parents, that makes a strong case that the parents had legitimate concerns that this boy was indoctrinating their daughter into horrifying beliefs. Read the story, you morons. |
| I think it doesn't matter where these kids met. What the guy is terrible. |
I doubt NBC and the Washington Post are sourcing information about this story from posts on Fairfax Underground. |
| Wow, five pages and not one mention of more gun control. |
| My guess is that the school is Flint Hill or New School. Commonwealth is far from Reston as is Howard Gardner. Also Inthink they are City of Alexandria. |
The news reports provide facts that the perpetrator was a neo-nazi. |
