Azan and Nicole are essentially a fake couple--Azan's real name is Hassan, which you can hear Nicole drop a few times (although she pronounces it "hassin" with "hass" rhyming with "ass"). On his social media pages in Arabic, he and his family make it clear that they are not together in a real relationship. Azan is also part of social media groups for guys who like Korean women. Whatever he's into, Nicole is not his type.

I read that somewhere! I also read that one point Nikki's brother also told off Annie because Annie supposedly stole money from Nikki and David and she was a prostitute back in Thailand looking to get out and acts innocent on camera, but that part was edited out.

I think he’s kind of abandoned her in Morocco - and she dragged her kid there so she can’t even leave the apartment - I felt for the grandma watching them leave for Morocco - she definitely worried she’d never see Mae again

It's not abandoning. He is so much into his "culture" thing. He is taking her to places. He needs his time at the cafe with his friends (males only) and Nicole is supposed to do things with girls or women like cooking and cleaning, etc ...

These two have nothing in common. She is sort of obsessed with the idea of having him as her bf/hubby, he tries to change her looks to be more attracted to her but it's not going to work. He's no Mohamed. He's actually a decent person. Hope they don't marry.

I actually really like Azan a lot. He is showing her and her daughter the culture, the town, etc. He is very hands on (in a noncreepy way) with Mae. He also keeps his cool when she beats the shit out of him.

I feel sorry for Azan. Nicole is very needy and so stubborn about his culture. I hope he doesn't marry her, he'll be miserable.

I posted the original note above- how do you know this? I assumed she was just pronouncing Azan like Hassan - why would he use a different name? I do feel bad - I think they are two people who want to find someone and this story has a very romantic angle in their heads - except he isn’t attracted to her at all and she’s cheating and immature - and poor Mae - though Thank God she seems ok in Morocco.

I’m equally obsessed with the NH couple - I mean that marriage is going to last five days total - he’s miserable and negative and she is such a diva and rude. And the Irish dude who won’t let his fiancé go or for her bachelorette with her sisters - and she admits he has an aged problem! Run run away!

Stupid auto correct. " Chantel" she married Pedro. His family offered her family chicken feet

What's with David and Evelyn? Is he upset because she wanted to speak about sex in front of the cameras? I mean he is 27. Why is the subject making him so uncomfortable?

I am really loving Andrei. He is such a "mujik" as the Russians say.

When you try to talk to your future husband about sex, and he shrieks and flounces out of the room, you're probably in for disappointment.

Maybe David is lying about being a virgin?...I don't know about Andrei being a mujik, but he is not taking sh!t from anyone, it seems. I'm glad Nikki gave David the boot -- sucks for her that Chris didn't tell her what Annie's sponsorship would entail.

That whole thing was super weird. Pedro has a different real name too.

Elizabeth and Andrei seem to be the most genuine couple.
I mean what was with the dad saying his other son in laws have money.
Elizabeth is not pretty, not very young, not accomplished, and only works part time for her dad. She's not a catch in any way. The best she would have had is a husband like her brother who had never heard of Moldova (or any other Eastern European country except Russia).

She lucked out. Daddy should be thankful for that.

I agree, and she mentioned earlier (maybe in one of the awkward convos with Daddy and brother) that she loves Moldova and would be fine living there. Which means she's actually been to his country and spent enough time there to fall in love, and that she is probably open to incorporating his culture into their life together. So many of the couples seem to expect the foreigner to come over and "adjust to American life," leaving their old ways behind. They seem to be more natural, like a couple that met and fell in love, and just happen to be from different countries (a la Alexei and Loren), versus the mixed age couples who are the result of a vacation fling or one person specifically looking for a foreign spouse because Americans are XYZ.

Do you think she's met Andrei's family? There's been lots of talk about her family accepting him, so I'm surprised they haven't touched upon the flip side at all.

Did you see today's episode???
I thought Luis would wait until after the wedding to dump Molly but now it's obvious that he can always go to New Jersey to be with his brother. There are ways to extend the K-1 visa.
This whole religious thing reminds me of the Dominican guys back in the days in Eastern Europe, who would confess their love to a girl, live with and off her family for the whole 5 years while in college and then make a lame excuse about how their relationship would not work because the girls were not Christian enough. I hope Molly is smart enough to realize and does not take him back.

This show has to be scripted/fake because it's no way Molly still married Luis after Sunday's episode.

How could any women marry a man who's not interested in their children;shame on her.

The same way Anfisa and Jorge stayed together (though these two seem equally unlikely).

That said, the show does seem like it manufactures arguments and creates story lines. Did they New England couple really never discuss where they were going to live before he arrived in the states? It's suddenly a shock that a 36-year-old and a guy with a vasectomy might have trouble having kids? Um...OK...
